Ashmit is an Indian actor who made his acting debut with the film Inteha directed by Vikram Bhatt. He has also played leading roles in films like Murder, Dil Diya Hai, Banaras, and Fight Club to name a few. He also played a prominent role in Jai Ho with Salman Khan. Ashmit featured as one of the finalists in the fourth season of the Indian television reality show Bigg Boss. He hosted Superstud & Superdude on UTV Bindass.

He made his digital debut with The Bull of Dalal Street and is in works with Ullu App/MX Player’s upcoming web-series titled Peshawar scheduled to release next month.
